The Imaginary is an anime film produced by Studio Ponoc in Japan in 2023, with light-and-shadow animation work completed at Les Films du Poisson Rouge in Angoulême, France.

As part of the French team, I worked frame by frame on my assigned shots by drawing three-layer lighting passes composed of shadows, deep shadows, and highlights.
